My go Daddy website builder wont load properly now, it does work in IE. My firefox is up to date and i have tried reinstalling, deleting cache etc...
I have been using firefox for months. I have been using Go Daddy website builder for weeks. All of a sudden two nights ago while trying to edit my site, it just kept "spinning" (not loading). I tried to delete the site and start over, the same result. I contacted Go Daddy customer service and they suggested try another browser, so i did, and it worked fine in Internet Explorer. Two days later i still can get into my Website builder, but cannot edit it if im working in firefox. I contacted Customer support again today and they said it is definitely a browser issue. So I made sure and it says my firefox is up to date (does that mean plugins too?). I have tried deleting and re-installing, no luck. I delete my cache and clean my system all the time. Id simply like to get it up and running via firefox again. Its weird because i can get into my account, and get into website builder, it is when i attempt to edit the website that it doesnt load properly.
Any ideas?

I think other users have had problems with GoDaddy site builder in the past, but I can't recall whether there was a solution.
In case one of your extensions is involved, could you test the editor in Firefox's Safe Mode? That's a standard diagnostic tool to deactivate extensions and some advanced features of Firefox. More info: Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode.
You can restart Firefox in Safe Mode using
Help > Restart with Add-ons Disabled (Flash and other plugins still run)
In the dialog, click "Start in Safe Mode" (not Reset)
Any difference?
It did work no problem. So what does that mean for me? I only have 3 addons (avast, download helper, and new tab opener or something). I never had any problems before. It doesn't make sense that i would have to all of a sudden use safe mode everytime i want to edit my site, i could more easily switch over to IE. Somethings up, any idea? TY btw
My suggestion is to disable the avast! Online Security extension and see whether that resolve the issue. If so, and you prefer to keep using it, you can ask on the avast! forums for how to make that happen. (I don't see anything there currently.)
I always had avast enabled when i worked on my website, it never caused an issue. Anyway i did disable it and it didnt make any difference. I get into the website setup page but when i try and launch it simply keeps spinning.
Does the Network tab in the Web Console (Firefox/Tools > Web Developer) give any clues about what goes wrong?
I wouldnt know what to look for, there are many links listed in that drop down. My page keeps "spinning" as if it simply cannot connect...
Hi 21oliver, the Network section of the web console should show each request Firefox has sent, and time bars for the response time. It can be useful to identify which requests are hanging or timing out. (click a row for more information)
