HI initially when I installed firefox, when I opened it the homepage was something called firefox support. as I prefer google to be my homepage, I simply changed it to google, however now whenever I open firefox, although google opens on my current tab, a second tab opens everytime with the same firefox support heading.

I find this very irritating and cannot see how to fix it on the options tab. please advise

What website is showing for "Firefox Support"?

Make sure that only google.com is display on your Options.

Go to The image "new fx menu" does not exist. > Options > General > Home Page
Make sure it says When Firefox starts (Show my home page) is selected
For the home page, make sure only https://www.google.com is inputted and not another page.
