Hey, I am using firefox-esr from debian repository (128.6.0esr). The problem is that some other language text shows as a rectangular box with numbers and letters inside it. Please help!!!

I've been having this problem for a few months now with Firefox displaying the message "Hmm. We’re having trouble finding that site".

It's intermittent and not related to a particular site.

Usually, if I click "Try Again", the page loads perfectly. Sometimes, a second attempt is required.

I'm having the problem with 2 of our desktop PCs (different profiles).

It got so frustrating I switched to Brave for a while. It doesn't have the same problem.

I'm just guessing here, but I've noticed that some sites (again, no particular sites, it varies) take 10s-15s to come up. Is Firefox giving up and reporting "Server not Found" while Brave keeps trying?

The computers are rebooted daily and I've tried cycling the power on our router.

No other responses to this problem have helped.

Sound and some video's don't work on facebook on my pc with firefox. Works fine on my phone with firefox . When I use a different browser on my pc it is fine. I am getting pissed off with the piss poor help system you are running here. No help means No good. Do you even look at these crappy reports. Because you are not responding and I have no idea if you give a fuck? well do ya.

I'm attempting to set up sync between my windows laptop and my new android phone. The phone has firefox loaded, allows me to pull up the 'sync and save your data' page, allows me to choose 'ready to scan' and presumably successfully scans the QR code displayed on the laptop (the laptop prompts me to approve the new device). Then the laptop indicates I need to wait to approve it on my phone, and the whole process stalls. The phone continues to display the mostly blank white screen with only the "moz://a" at the top and the spinning blue circle in the center. Eventually the whole thing seems to time out and I receive an error message on the laptop saying "websocket unexpectedly closed" and "device pairing failed".

My two hypotheses are that either still having my old phone (which is being retired to at-home use only, and I'd rather not de-sync) still synced is somehow interfering (seems unlikely), or that something about the new phone's software is interfering in the sync (seems unlikely and way out of my league in terms of troubleshooting around).

Help please?

Is this Microsofts way of saying "Use Edge?" Can I change settings to make it work?
