I already tried to uninstall speed dial several times in different ways: 1) going to the add-on and extensions on firefox. 2) going to the programs and features on the control panel. 3) going to settings in firefox and set the default browser. 4) going to "about:config" and restarting the default browser (in start up and new tab.) several times.

and none of this worked for me.

If any one can help me to uninstalled for good, it's welcome

  1. Install, update, then fully scan your system with the anti-malware applications listed in the following article. Use one application at a time.
  2. If the problems persist, refer to a forum that specializes in malware removal.

Exactly what are you referring to?

There are several extensions (a type of add-on) named Speed Dial. Do you have one of those, and if so, which one?

Firefox has a built-in feature, the New Tab Page, which some refer to as Speed Dial. See the "How do I turn the new tab page off?" section of the following article if you want to disable it.

If you're unable to change what opens in each new tab, or you can't change your home page or search engine, you may have a malware problem.

im in the middle of the first one and the third one. since it insall ill be redirected to kind of fake mozilla web pages that just got the logo, nothing else of mozilla, and still I got the warning of avast and the WOT scoring was yellow, so i think its more malware, i will search in the links that you send me and try them all.

Same problem.

Unistalled the program and the extension, but every time I restart FF, I get this pasted into Options>General>Homepage.

Every time I open Firefox, this gets inserted as my homepage in the Options>General tab.

Thank you both. I finally erase speed dial with the program adwcleaner that was linked in the link you send me, now I'll use this same with my other browsers. P.S. I also did one last time the about:config and search for everything containing speed dial and restart the default options.
