I went to update my firefox and it replaced my old one, and now it says it is incompatible with my mac os x 10.5.8, how do I get my old firefox back? HELP!
I have an old macbook and basically nothing new is compatible with it. I foolishly went for the update because I was prompted to do so, not being warned that it was not compatible with my macbook. And now the new firefox replaced my old firefox, but the new firefox does NOT work. How can I retrieve my old firefox and get my bookmarks, etc back?
HELP!!!!! I'm on safari now and I just want my firefox back

hello oldmacuser, please refer to Firefox no longer works with Mac OS X 10.5 to get this resolved.
https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/17.0/system-requirements/ https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/16.0/system-requirements/ https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/4.0/system-requirements/
As of Firefox 4.0 the minimum was OSX 10.5 until 16.0.2. Then as of Firefox 17.0 the minimum has been OSX 10.6+ since. This is for Intel as PPC support was dropped as of Firefox 4.0
Since you have Intel and if you upgrade to at least OSX 10.6 you can then use the current Firefox Releases including Firefox 32.
