I presume you have done this:

Tools > Account Settings > mail account name Signature text: select 'Use HTML' In text box type eg: your name click on OK

Help > Troubleshooting Information click on 'Show folder'

a window opens showing Profile folder name contents. Close Thunderbird now - this is important

You created a chrome folder - note the spelling It should be located in the same place as the 'Mail' folder - see first image below.

You opened 'Notepad' You entered everything that is in between the lines below Saved file as userContent.css - note spelling - in the chrome folder. See second image below.

/*
 * Change display color of text and links in signature
 */

.moz-txt-sig, .moz-signature {
  color: black !important;
}
.moz-txt-sig > a, .moz-signature > a {
  color: blue !important;
}

<style>
.moz-txt-sig, .moz-signature {
  opacity: inherit !important;
}
</style>

Please post images like the ones I have attached, so I can see exactly what you have got.

I can see from images, that you use this as your signature for outgong messages: Sehr geehrte Damen und Herren

However, the other image shows an incoming message from someone else.

The signature and userContent.css code effects your signature in outgoing mails, not signatures written by other people on incoming mail.
