duplicate of /questions/1112370

what do I have to do to simply put a site on my desktop. When i had Google I simply right click and it would ask for what you wanted to do . One of the options was add to desktop. I have tried but failed on any site to be able to add it to my desktop so I can just click on it an go directly to it. I am sure there is some type of setting I need to change but I dont know where to go . Please help me. Thanks
