Using Firefox on my Android tablet, when I select a link, I sometimes get a quick message with an option to "open now" a tab to view the selected page. I'd like pages to open automatically. This has only started happening, to my recollection, in the past while. Please advise....

Hi

One way you can do this is to set bookmarks so that they are icons on the Android desktop. By tapping on the bookmark, Firefox for Android will open and take you straight to that page. You can read more about how to do this here.

I also notice that you are using an older version of Firefox for Android and I strongly recommend you update to make sure you have the latest security and stability fixes, as well as new features. You can read more about how to update here.

I hope this helps, but if not, please come back here and we can look into a different solution for you.
