What message are you getting from Firefox when you try to load the site? Can you copy/paste it (if it's in the tab) or post a screenshot of it (if it's a popup)? This article has tips on screenshots: How do I create a screenshot of my problem? Please cut out or blur any sensitive information in the image before attaching it to your reply.

Firefox says the certificate is being used by another site? It is the Maytag appliance registration website. How can I tell Firefox to let me communicate with the site? Thanks. Steve

Firefox says the certificate is being used by another site?

If Firefox tries to connect to mcompany.com and in response gets a certificate for otherguy.com then it displays an error because you really have no idea what server you're actually connecting to. It could be a mistake by someone at mcompany or it could be you've been diverted by a hijacker.

Were you planning to send any sensitive information to the site, anything personally identifying or financial in nature, that you wouldn't want to submit to hackers?

Is this the only site that has mentioned any problems with their certificate?

Note that this can happen if you connect via a secure HTTPS connection, but the website is meant to be accessed via an open connection and doesn't have a certificate installed. Instead you get the certificate from the hosting company.

Did you try to change the "https://" prefix to "http://"?

I get my Internet from Spectrum TV, formerly Time Warner Cable. If I try to watch TV from Spectrum's website, I get the following message from Firefox:

Your connection is not secure

The owner of video2.timewarnercable.com has configured their website improperly. To protect your information from being stolen, Firefox has not connected to this website.

What gives? If any site is secure, Spectrum's should be.

Hi JimmyJoeBob, that address redirects me to a sign-in page here:

https://watch.spectrum.net/

Does that address work any better for you?

If not, please click the "Advanced" button on the error page and copy/paste the more detailed error explanation into your next reply.
