Signature present on fowards even when disabled
I have signatures enabled at bottom for new mail and for replies, works as intended. It's disabled for forwards yet about half of the time the signature is present and it's at the top of the email. Not sure when the problem started but somewhere around 6th July 2020, i.e, when the 64.10 release came out.
No add-ons right now ( I've been getting Thunderbird crashes on two different computers so removed to see if it's stable) Win 10 64 bit Thunderbird 64.10.0

Have you got more than one mail account and it is not disabled on one the accounts?
Do you only have one account, but it has more than one identity?
Check:
- Right click on mail account name in Folder Pane and select 'SEttings'
- click on 'Manage Identities' button
Is there more than one identity?
- Either way, select an identity and click on 'Edit'
- Select 'Composition & Addressing' tab
- Check 'Include signature for forwards' is not selected.
- Click on OK
If more than one identity, select the other, click on Edit and check as before.
- click on 'Close'
- Click on 'OK'
HI Toby,
Really appreciate you taking the time to come up with some things to try.
I have found a solution the problem but I cannot explain how it happened.
I use a desktop and a laptop mainly. Of one of these the forward setting had got changed to include the signature. No one else uses that computer and I'm 100% certain I didn't change the settings. I have had crashing issues (hence the removed plug-ins). I can only speculate the settings change might be related.
