Dissappointed in you support
I have had the same stupid problem for 3 years. I lose power to my MAC and I have to redo all the stuff on Firefox. I lose homepage, BookmarksI really want to speak to a voice on the phone so I can explain it but that is not an option on the website. I WANT TO SPEAK TO SOMEONE WHO CAN HELP ME!!!!! I have tried a couple of the self solutions and I have the same problem. I am about to just delete this POS and go back to POS Safari. Firefox works wonderful when it is up and running but if my machine loses power or I reboot, Firefox gets wrapped around the axel and I can't get my Bookmarks/favorites back. Also, LASTPASS used to have a small icon in the upper right part of my homepage......now that is gone. I hope to here back from you.
Robert

Why does this happen?
Go to your local department/electronics store and look around for a UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) that is useful for you. The lowest price is $50 +. There are also units on the market that plug into the computer. So if the battery gets low, it will shut down the computer to protect it.
Note: Sudden power loss can damage or destroy a hard drive's data.

Macs: Make sure you install Firefox properly and that you do not run Firefox from within the DMG (Disk Images) file. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/how-download-and-install-firefox-mac
Hi Robert, From your wording, I get the impression that you think you are directly contacting developers or Mozilla employees. You are not. This is a community support forum. The people that answer questions here are users just like you, volunteering their time.
To protect your privacy, I've removed the personal information from your post.
If you'd like to speak to someone live, I'd be willing to have a call with you on Skype or Zoom, where you'd be able to share your screen. Just let me know what your prefer.
