firefox hangs on sites
Hellow,
Since updating the latest firefox version 91.01 it has considerably slowed down browsing speed to an impossible crawl. The task manager shows the update as permanently on, sucking 100% resources. There´s something not right when it does this, and is becoming a bad habit of constantly refreshing firefox to get sensible operation.
It started by installing a clear cache which helped as firefox also hangs when connecting to the internet as a result it goes off-line at random times. Barely ideal.
Is it worth rolling back to an earlier version that is more stable ? Any other users got debugging suggestions ?

Really? Ver 94.0.1 has issues AND I did not agree to the newest BETA version (?) multiple browser issues Tabs 'Slide away when you try to click on one. Basic browsing using 98% of my computers resources AGAIN for what ? too much background bullshit. I wanted to be a volunteer & helper BUT I see they seem to be as lost as me.... another update has been suggested! THATS how we got HERE!
Even OPERA is managing better.... less version updates.

The task manager shows the update as permanently on . . .
Try rebooting the computer. Does that help?
Locking due to age.
