Firefox totally eliminated Internet Explorer from my computer. I can NOT even download a new explorer program! My system, Vista, says I already have one - the folder is totally empty. the quick launch sends me to Mozilla firefox. I can not access HP nor Microsoft Help or diagnostics because I do not have Internet Explorer. Clearing the registry is not an option - as when I had to have my computer cleaned because of a virus, they destroyed everything. It has taken me 2 months of frustration to get this far. There has to be a simple fix to this! PLEASE HELP ANYONE!!! I can't even access the troubleshooting information add-ons - extensions to share - the only option I have is to disable the microsoft .net Framework assistant!

== when I chose to use firefox as my browser of choice

Hello Debe,

go to Start > Run, enter iexplore.exe there and press Enter.

Does Internet Explorer open?
