I want to go back to firefox 3.0. Ever since they upgraded my computer its awful ...So slow I can't use it. My mouse hesitates and clicks on things I'm not pointing to.

If you updated firefox automatically, try updating Firefox manually by reinstalling Firefox from http://www.getfirefox.com
