how do I restore homepage to mozilla firefox and rid imesh as homepage
I downloaded iMesh and accidentally made it my home page. I uninstalled iMesh, but it still appears as home page. I want all parts of iMesh removed. I can't even open my yahoo mail.

You also have installed: My Web Search Plugin Stub for 32-bit Windows
- You have an item installed that is considered malware/spyware/adware, "My Web Search Plugin Stub". This type of pest is usually installed along with software you download from the internet; generally free programs, but not always. Carefully watch for "extra" items that will be installed and un-check or opt-out of them.
- You can check to see if you have any of these from Web Products" installed:
- Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs, click on any that you find and click "Remove": Ask.com Bar, My Search Bar, MyWay Speed Bar, My Web Search Bar, Fun Web Products Easy Installer
- See:

It might be a good idea to thoroughly scan for malware.
- Download, install and update as many of the following as possible until your infections are cleaned.
- The free versions of these scanners will detect infections and clean your system; no need to purchase
- Different malware scanners detect some malware that other scanners do not.
- If you are unable to download the malware programs,
- change the name of the installer program before saving the download to your hard drive, and
- once installed, go to the installation folder for the program and change the name of the program executable file (i.e., for Malwarebytes Anti-Malware, change mbam.exe to xyz-mb.exe), then update the program and run the scan.
- you may need to download on an un-infected computer, change the name of the installer program, copy the installer to a CD or USB thumb drive, and transport to your system for installation.
- Some stubborn malware will need to be removed in Windows Safe Mode with Networking. See:

- If these don't find or can't clear the infection(s), post in one of these forums for specialized malware removal help:
- Read and follow their rules for posting
- Follow their instructions to the letter
- Be patient; you are put in a queue and you will get a response when they get to your post
You also may need to reset your home page if an iMesh page opens when you first start Firefox:
You MAY need to reset a preference if when entering a word or two in the Location/URL bar takes you to an iMesh search page
- Open a new tab or window.
- Type about:config in the URL/address bar and press the Enter key
- If you see a warning, accept it (promise to be careful)
- Filter = keyword.url
- Right-click on the preference below the Filter, and choose Reset
- Restart Firefox (File > Restart Firefox)
- See: http://kb.mozillazine.org/Keyword.URL for details.

Ilungisiwe
revo uninstaller hunter mode full eradication all boxes checked ur prblm slvd
Care should be taken when using, or recommending the use of, any uninstaller product, including Revo. I use the Revo product, but, if the user
- is unfamiliar with what is on their system,
- perhaps can not identify what is a system file and what is not,
- perhaps can identify what is safe to remove and what is not,
any uninstaller product can be very destructive to their system.
Better to take the safe path with the understanding level of the user being an unknown.
