I had to re-install Windows XP because of a virus and took a full back up. I do not want to re-install the entire system but a choice of files including Firefox. How do I relocate and load my bookmarks from the backed up Firefox?

Your Firefox personal data, such as bookmarks and passwords, are stored in a Profile folder. See this:

Other things that need your attention:

Your above posted system details show multiple Java Console extensions.
You can uninstall (remove) the Java Console extensions, you do not need them to run Java applets.
