First, just a note on forum etiquette: posting in ALL CAPS is considered shouting. Please don't shout at the volunteers.
You should update to the latest version of Flash; your version has security vulnerabilities. Visit: http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/
If you have a security suite that asks whether programs are allowed to access the internet, make sure you haven't blocked plugin-container.exe, which is a separate program Firefox uses to run Flash and other plugins.
I have tried everything you suggested and still the youtube videos will not play in Firefox4 but will play in Internet Explorer 8. The only thing I can think to do is to uninstall that Firefox4 and re-install it but then I lose all my bookmarks I have.
You probably don't need to reinstall. Try creating a new profile. If it works, you can import your bookmarks into it.
First, I recommend backing up your Firefox settings in case something goes wrong. See Backing up your information. (You can copy your entire Firefox profile folder somewhere outside of the Mozilla folder.)
Next, with Firefox closed, fire up the profile manager: Managing profiles.
To move key settings like bookmarks from your old profile to the new profile, see: Recovering important data from an old profile.
Hope this helps.
Your My Web Search Plug-in is generally regarded as malware and evidence I've seen suggests it causes a lot of problems. Suggest you Google it or sift through the Search Firefox Help box above for information and advice. It is associated with FunWeb products.
ALAN: You are the only one who gave me an answer that worked. I deleted the program My Web Search Plug-in and now I am able to play the Youtube video's Thanks and the people at FireFox should hire you. I still have a problem making a program called NASCAR Raceview run in FireFox4 but noticed at their site that it suggest an earlier version of FireFox. Have no clue whether to try it or just stick with IE8.
Happy to help. I wouldn't go back to an earlier version of Firefox. You'd be left stranded before long.
Alan: Think you are right. Will just stay put on FireFox and use IE8 for the Nascar unless I can get help from Nascar on why it will not load in FireFox4. Thanks for your help on my other problem. It worked.
