I just installed Kubuntu 11.04 - Natty Narwhal and Firefox updated to V6.

My GREEN arrows - browser back / forward have disappeared - just a couple of insipid, transparent pointers !!!

Try a different icon pack in Linux (e.g. Tango) or try a different Firefox theme.
