Normally the options window has a set of tabs at the top, but when I click tools | options all I can see is the general tab, no tabs are shown and I cannot move the window down. I am operating with a screen resolution of 800x600 and have tried in both normal mode and safe mode. However, if I change the resolution to 1024x768 I can see the options tabs, but it is difficult for me to see with impaired vision. How can I fix this to be able to see all the options using 800x600 screen resolution?

Could not reproduce this on Linux using Firefox 6. Can you please let me know which operating system and Firefox version you are using.

Windows 7, FF 6.0.2. I am using safe mode now, and suddenly after restarting FF the Options appear correctly even in 800x600. I will have to try enabling addons and plugins to see what happens

After I restarted FF in safe mode and did not change any settings, I cannot even see the FF menu items, and FF did not remember the last tabs open, even though I did not check any of the safe mode boxes . see image

  • Press F10 or tap the Alt key to bring up the "Menu Bar" temporarily if the Menu Bar is hidden and the orange Firefox menu button is displayed.
  • Use "Firefox > Options" instead of "Tools > Options" if the menu bar is hidden.

cor-el - seeing the menu is not the problem. Not being able to see the options tabs is the problem. But now I can see those also in normal mode with only some of previously active add-ons disabled. . I am suspecting an add-on, but not sure which one, and don't have time at the moment to disable-reenable them one at a time.
