Since I upgraded to the new Firefox, the Chat on Yahoo no longer works.
I upgraded to the newest Firefox for my Dell computer with Windows 7.
When I went to use the chat section of my Yahoo email page...the chat section will NOT work.
When I went back to the Explorer (instead of Firefox)..it works fine.
The new upgrade did something to the upgrade of Firefox. John

Hi,
Please try changing the Options > Messenger Options > General between Small Window and Tab in Yahoo. The Tab setting opens the chat window in a new tab on the right side of the last tab. Also try a Ctrl + F5 refresh if necessary.

It works in FF10 beta, you can upgrade to the beta or wait for FF10 release. (it's a regression known in FF9)
I am not sure i understood what is meant by between Small Window and Tab in Yahoo. What do you have to do? How do youdo it? Ctrl +F5 is not solving the problem. I am still getting the IM from the same person and it always opens 2 windows which i close every time but not able to acess Messenger Options. It simply won't highlight & open. Should I upgrade to FF10? there was just Aurora or Beta. I am using a Dell laptop. Thanks
See comment 7 in bug 713014: 1. Go into your Yahoo Messenger Options - Change the Window in the dropdown to Tab and press OK. 2. Then go back and switch it to small window and press OK.
