Can´t download a csv-file from provider Bob with firefox but can with IE. no proxy. have screen-dumps
Every month I download from my internetprovider a csv-file containing the connecting-details of the last month. Some time ago by clicking on the downloadlink the screen get very dark and the subscreen for choosing the filetype did not apear. Using the internet explorer gives no problem.

I don´t know what happend, since a few days the download works also with firefox. Nothing has changed, I only forgot to switch to IE and to my surprise the download was offered and worked. Thanks for all your hints, I hope the success will continue.

It is possible this feature is only designed to work with IE,has it worked previously with Firefox ?
As this will be a private site others will be unable to test this, maybe your ISP has a support forum that may help.
All I can think of doing to help is providing a link to some general information
- What to do if you can't download or save files
- also make sure javasript is enabled (If you can see the formatting icons whilst posting messages javascript is enabled)
Hello john99
Thanks for your answer, it has worked in the past. It is not a disaster as long as IE works but it is nasty.

I am not sure whether you are saying Firefox presented a dialogue option previously, or whether the options were from your ISP but you may find this article worth reading:
