Facebook wont load on Firefox? It always gives an error message.
I remember last opening facebook from firefox the day before yesterday. When I tried to open facebook from firefox yesterday, there was always an error message which showed up every time I typed in facebook.com and the loading would stop as soon as the message would show up. I didn't complain about this issue yesterday and thought that it would get fixed today by its own. However, when I tried to open facebook today, I saw the error message again. I am still not able to open facebook. Well, I was able to open facebook from other browsers yesterday but facebook doesn't seem to open even on those browsers anymore! Please if anyone could help, it would be greatly appreciated.
This is the error message which shows up every time:
Secure Connection Failed An error occurred during a connection to www.facebook.com.
SSL received a record that exceeded the maximum permissible length.
(Error code: ssl_error_rx_record_too_long)
The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because the authenticity of the received data could not be verified. Please contact the website owners to inform them of this problem. Alternatively, use the command found in the help menu to report this broken site.

You may want to try to reset Firefox by going to about:support and hitting reset Firefox. If you don't want to do that, then try to start Firefox in Private browsing, that helped me with a website that wouldn't load at one point.
Note that such an error message can be caused by using a proxy to connect and this proxy may not be working with a secure connection.
You can look at this link on how to disable forcing a secure connection in Facebook.
You may need to clear the cache and possibly the history to make Firefox use a normal http connection.
