The adds keep popping out on the side since I downloaded the latest version of firefox. It is blocking view of forms that I try to fill out online you cannot get rid of the half inch black back. popups are blocked.

It could be that these ads are generated by an add-on. Try this:

Disable ALL nonessential or unrecognized add-ons on these two tabs:

orange Firefox button (or Tools menu) > Add-ons > Plugins category
orange Firefox button (or Tools menu) > Add-ons > Extensions category

If you get a link above a disabled extension to restart Firefox, go ahead and do that as the last step. Any improvement?

TY WFW, I did have one called 1.0 and disabled it. I'll see if it helps. Not only are ads taking over the tele, they're now on my computer. Driving me batty.
