I cannot type into Firefox. It worked fine yesterday. I noticed that it upgraded to 23.0 earlier and then 25.0 later in the day. I run it once a day for a particular website. Curiously, I can cut and paste, so I typed this in another application and then pasted it into this box. It is rather annoying that I couldn't use a different browser to report the problem. Other applications and web browsers work just fine. Control-V does not work. I need to use the right click menu to do the copy and paste in Firefox. I tried running in Firefox Safe Mode and tried re-installing Firefox.

Follow up. Very strange. I saw the Help/Keyboard Shortcuts menu and went to that page. I started trying some of them with no effect, until I accidentally pressed the "fn" key on my laptop keyboard. Suddenly, I could type again. This seems very odd, in that nothing else seemed to be affected. Still, it is good to have Firefox back.

What worked for me was holding down F9 and while still holding it hold down the Windows key (I have a gaming computer that disables the left one so I don't hit it in game but I just hit the right one) and that worked!
