All of a sudden, when I try to write, reply or forward msg, the msg window is empty and I can not see any entry of typing.
When I turned on my computer this morning all was normal. Then after using Firefox email a while I tried to respond to another email. When I hit the Respond button the respond screen did not contain the email text I was responding to. It also did not show the cursor. I tried several things including searching the help files all to no avail. So I tried to write a message. Same indication so I tried to type some data. Nothing showed on the screen so I sent it to my self. When I received the note, the text I had tyoed appeared and it looked normal. So then I tried to Reply to the same message. While in Reply mode, the email portion of the screen was blank so I typed some additional text, still invisible, and sent it. Upon receive of the message all the new text was there. Same thing happens when I try to forward a message. All data is invisible in the Forward screen but anything I type into the message is present when I receive the message.

Thank you for the quick note and suggestion. I will save it for 'next time' if it comes back. Before your note came I tried something.
A little while ago I tried something. I ran the free version of Malwarebytes Anti Malware and found 79 'threats'. They were a lot of; Pup.Optional.Wajam.A, Pup.Optional.CrossRider.A, etc. Several more with different names after the Pup.Optional......... I quarantined them and retested the Reply and Forward functions. They now work as they are supposed to. So It looks like the problem was caused by these un wanted Malware items. All were in the Thunderbird library.
