viewport stops responding to keyboard & mouse
I'm using FF30.0. Sometimes the Firefox viewport will stop responding to the mouse or keyboard. I can still click the icons to reload the page, go forward/back, etc. but if I press f5/ctrl-f5 to reload nothing happens, and when I mouseover or click links on the page nothing happens. If I close FF and re-open it everything will work again. It seems to be isolated to a single tab or a few tabs at a time.

Hi raphael75, Please try a new profile or reset Firefox. It could be a stored preference affecting the performance if this also does not happen in other applications.
Sometimes a problem with Firefox may be a result of malware installed on your computer, that you may not be aware of.
You can try these free programs to scan for malware, which work with your existing antivirus software:
- Microsoft Safety Scanner
- MalwareBytes' Anti-Malware
- Anti-Rootkit Utility - TDSSKiller
- AdwCleaner (for more info, see this alternate AdwCleaner download page)
- Hitman Pro
- ESET Online Scanner
Microsoft Security Essentials is a good permanent antivirus for Windows 7/Vista/XP if you don't already have one.

- Firefox will open with all factory defaults applied.
For Firefox 29.0 and above:
- Click the menu button , click help and select Troubleshooting Information. Now, a new tab containing your troubleshooting information should open.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.
- Switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance
- Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window
