I have edited html files in IE with notepad but am unable to see how to do so in firefox. I looked under all the menu choices including tools and options but had no luck. I googled the same question and got unclear answers. Thanks

Note that Firefox has a built-in editor called the Scratchpad (Firefox/Tools > Web Developer) as part of the developer tools that you can use to edit files including HTML files.

Hi!

You can edit any .html file in Notepad by right-clicking on the file and clicking Open With...

When you're done editing, just save the file in Notepad. Then you can launch Firefox, go to the Menu, and then click "Open File". Choose your .html file and it will launch in Firefox. If you edit the file and then save, you just have to refresh the page in Firefox to see your changes.

I hope that solved your problem!

If it did, would you please choose this answer as your solution? It would help other Firefox users to find help on the forums faster and more efficiently. Thanks!

And of course, feel free to post back if you need more help!

Happy browsing!
