I have done multiple virus scans and have updated all my add-ons, and checked the Firefox Health Report and there haven't been any crashes since last year.

I opened multiple tabs to see if it would still close it and the warning box about closing tabs still pops up but is closed immediately, I suspect I have a virus but it doesn't show up in AVG.

Does this only happen when you close Firefox intentionally or does Firefox close by itself when you are working with it and aren't clicking any close buttons, either on the tab bar or the window close button?

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.

  • Switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance
  • Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window

Note that your System Details List shows multiple Flash plugins.

  • Shockwave Flash 14.0 r0
  • Shockwave Flash 13.0 r0

You can find the installation path of all plugins on the about:plugins page.

You can check the Flash player installation folder for multiple Flash player plugins and remove older version(s) of the plugin (NPSWF32) and possibly (re)install the latest Flash player.

Firefox closes by itself when I am working.

I uninstalled Flash and installed it again and updated and still doesn't work. I have ran 3 virus scans and it doesn't pick up anything. I have tried timing it to see if it is set to close in a certain amount of time and it is completely random.

I have no idea what to do.
