Firefox asks for Flash. I click install. It finds it on my computer but then says cannot load WHY
when drop down shows up to install flash player, I click on install. It comes up that It found Flash player on my computer but when I say install, it says cannot install and to do it manually. When I click on that it sends me to the Flash player site which wants me to down load programs.
As I say, I already have Flash player on my system and is automatically updated from time to time. I have checked and it is the latest version available.
Bottom line is how do I get Firefox to use the one I already have on my system? I am not comfortable downloading a program Firefox says I already have .

I have downloaded the execute file to my computer and will install off line as I do with most of my installations because at 74 I get confused very easily with too many windows open and things going on at the same time.
If I do it that way I can follow better without getting so lost.
Thank again for such a prompt reply. .

Hello MichaeLgc, there are 2 different version for Adobe Flash Player, one for Internet Explorer and one for other browsers, probably you have the version for Internet Explorer that's why we can not see it in your system details (the flash player plugin for firefox not exist), you can download the latest for firefox from the next link : http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/
thank you
