Whenever I send an email using Thunderbird, my recipient receives two copies of my message.

I also get two copies of the message in my Sent folder. FYI, this is a Hotmail account. When I use Windows Live Mail client on any of my other computers, only a single message is sent, so the problem is with Thunderbird.

Under Tools/Account Settings/hotmailaccount/Copies & Folders, uncheck "Place a copy in" under "When sending messages...". Hotmail/live/outlook.com accounts automatically copy a sent message to the Sent folder (same with Gmail).
