Need to migrate many years of old mail messages and contacts from Netscape 7.2 mail to Thunderbird. I understand early versions of TB had a Netscape 7.2 migration tool. Can I perform this migration, possibly to an older version of TB, then upgrade to current TB version. Eventually, I want to migrate my Netscape 7.2 mail from an aging Vista computer to new Windows7 64 bit system?

I would suggest you use V3.1 I think that was the last version with profile changes and it certainly had the Netscape import.

Pick your language version here http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/thunderbird/releases/3.1.20/win32/ to open a folder with the install executable for 3.1.20
