What does firefox measure download speed in, kilobits or kilobytes?
Am curious what format the browser measures file download speeds, bits or bytes per second?
I have searched everywhere and cannot find a clear answer. I am aware of the capitalization of the letters usually defines the terms it's measured in, however this appears to be non-standard across the internet, depending who you ask.
eg, kB = kilobytes, kb = kilobits.
firefox lists the downloads in capitials : KB or MB
I would assume it's measuring in BYTES not BITS.
If anyone can clarify this, it would be much appreciated.
Thankyou :)
