I placed the Firefox shortcut in the Startup folder but it will not open Firefox automatically when I initially boot up.

I tried putting other Applications in the Startup folder, such as IE, and they all work properly. It is only Firefox that will not open up. Firefox is my default browser.

Thanks for your help. Fred

Hi, there and thanks for the suggestion. Actually, I ran a very thorough 'scan and fix' with my Glary's Utilities and afterwards Firefox now opens properly. I'm not sure what the exact problem was but am just glad it is fixed.
