I need to import my backup in my portable thunderbird and I read in the documentation that I have to use the "Profile Manager" or to edit the "profiles.ini". I can't find the both.

This line: ["L:\PortableApps\ThunderbirdPortable\ThunderbirdPortable.exe" -p] just open the usual programm

How may I acces to the profile manager with the portable app?

Thanks

Ok I've neen searching around on portableapps.com for Thunderbird.

You see you are not actually using Mozilla Thunderbird for desktop, you are using a product that has been modified by a third party and so should really be asking in that products forum.

http://portableapps.com/node/23603 The profile manager isn't portable. Its just not supported by Thunderbird Portable because it will break things.

Looking at the last part of the command line - Are you using -P or -p ? In standard desktop Thunderbird it is a -P (dash capital P - not lowercase p)

i should also add that there needs to be a space before the dash.

If using MAC or Linux OS then you would use -profilemanager (all lower case - space dash profilemanger)

Hi. (I am on windows). The result is the same with -p and -P, the both launch the thunderbird and not the Profil Manager.
