If I have accidentally registered my desktop/default webcam under the wrong name for the Firefox browser, how can I re-name the camera in order to use it?
I installed Firefox in my computer. I attempted to use the default webcam with Facebook videochat and accidentally named the camera wrong when Firefox asked me to register my camera with the browser. When I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the browser, it didn't give me an option to rename the camera, and the browser is unable to connect with the camera because it is named wrong.

Hi, It is possible to change what camera is selected from the camera icon that shows up in the url of the Facebook video chat.
The name of the camera I am pretty sure is managed by another option. Do you remember where this was done before?

The naming of the camera took place when Mozilla was first installed and usage of the camera was initiated. Unfortunately when Mozilla was uninstalled and reinstalled, it doesn't give the option to name the camera again.. and I don't remember where the option was. Do you know where that option is to rename the camera?

Hi jnunez, Unfortunately I am not familiar with this feature, and do not think that it is native to Firefox. Was there an add on or another program that had this option?
