Cannot quit TB and don't see an option to force quit.
Mac 10.6.8 Tried to shut down, but message said application TB failed to quit. Thank you.

To force quit, press Option+Cmd+Esc, then select what you want to force quit. To make Tbird quit completely, you need to use Thunderbird > Quit Thunderbird from the menu. The other way is to right-click the icon in the dock and choose Quit. Clicking the red button in the corner of the window only closes the interface.
