I somehow downloaded a program called slimware plus. When I go into the control panel, it will not allow me to uninstall it. How do I get rid of it? It keeps popping up and wanting me to run it. I have not run it, but cannot get rid of it either.

Boot the computer in Windows Safe Mode with network support (press F8 on the boot screen) to see if that works.
