I'm running Firefox on Fedora 22 with Gnome 3.16.

I have 3 pinned tabs, but whenever I open enough tabs to have the arrow to scroll the tabs, the pinned tabs disappear. I can still access them with Ctrl+Tab and Alt+<NUM>, but I can't visually see them in the tab bar. Once I close some tabs, the pinned tabs re-appear.

This issue can be caused by an extension or theme that isn't working properly.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.

  • Switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance
  • Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window
