Currently, I have rules set up to filter messages into many different folders. But, I want to be able to read all new messages in the order that they were received, regardless of who they are from or what folder they were filtered into. That is why I want a folder to show only Unread messages. After I read them, I don't want them to show up in the Unread folder anymore.

I previously used this "Unread Mail" feature in Microsoft Outlook (at an old job), my new job uses Thunderbird and I would like to still have that feature, if possible in Thunderbird.

Thanks for any help!

Try View (Alt-V) - Threads - Unread

I tried View (Alt-V) - Threads - Unread, but that only shows the unread messages in the one folder you have highlighted. I want to to be able to see all unread messages from multiple different folders in one listing... such as in an "Unread Mail" folder.

Thanks!
