When I am sent an attachment to an e mail that is a tif (or anything that is not a pdf) I can't open the attachment after I download it. It won't convert to PDF and Microsoft word is not a choice when I go to "penwith"

When you open files from Firefox, Windows default programs are used.

To change default programs for each type of file:

  1. Open the Control Panel
  2. Open Default Programs
  3. Choose Associate a file type or protocol with a program
  4. For each file type which doesn't open with the right program, select the program you want

Try using AlternaTIFF - Standard web browser plug-in (Netscape-style) for Firefox to view TIF image files.

Windows Paint should be able to view BMP files.
