Firefox is turning HTTP URLS into HTTPS which is preventing me from accessing many of our company's internal applications. Is there a bug in the new code? I'm running 40.0.3

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web Link} by holding down the <Shift>
(Mac Options)
key, and then starting Firefox. Is the problem still there?

No, same thing happens. I type in a url (either in name.domain.com or http://name.domain.com format) and firefox changes it to https://name.domain.com and give me a "Unable to connect" error since the application doesn't support HTTPS.

I don't know why strict transport security would be on as these sites don't support HTTPS at all. That is why I can no longer view them in Firefox in the first place. Looks like I'm going to have to stop using Firefox and switch to a different browser until this bug can be fixed.

Start your Computer in safe mode with networking. Then start Firefox. Try Safe web sites. Is the problem still there?
