Hi

I think I can remember speaking to the team that built Firefox for Android about this in the past.

If I remember correctly, this is something that is currently being worked on with the aim of making it available in a future release.

I hope this helps, but if not, please come back here and we can look into a different solution for you.

If you are using Firefox for Android, you can do it easily. Just follow these method:

  • Tap the menu button (either below the screen on some devices or at the top right corner of the browser)
  • Tap on Settings. Then tap on Privacy.
  • At the bottom, you'll see Clear on exit.
  • Check the tick-mark.

So from now every time you Quit from Firefox, your data will be deleted.

Hi, Thanks for the reply. But i know the option you are talking about and it is not what i mean. I want an option that allows firefox mobile to always start in private browsing mode. Private mode isnt just a matter of cleaning history, it also has the new "do not track me option", etc. (I'm using the beta version). When i start the APP the page is always in normal mode and then i have to start a new private browsing tab. It would be nice if we could choose to always start with a private browsing tab.
