If you have previously stored your password in Thunderbird, you can find it under

Tools|Options|Security|Passwords→Saved Passwords

If you go to the length of changing the password, usually via the email provider's website, then you can also use the above to delete ("remove") the stored password, prompting Thunderbird to ask you for the new password the next time it needs it.
