Before Thunderbird updated to version 38.6.0, I was able to open my email saved messages when I had Thunderbird open. Explain to me in fine detail exactly how now I can view a saved (eml) message. I am not computer savvy.

I not computer savvy like you. Double clicking did the trick. Thank you.

I am still curious how you opened them in the past.

Under the file button, I would go to open, click saved messages; navigate to email, then down to the folder I wanted, open and then select message and it would open the message in another window with a single click.

That should work as well. It certainly works for me when I just tried it.

Lets see if you have an add-on that is making the files not open like they did.
