Why can't I reinstall Firefox?
Firefox locked up while working on Ancestry.com. The first time it was incredibly sluggish and I closed it and restarted and it was fine for a while. Then again later it started bogging down again. This time it locked up. I couldn't restart the computer because it said Firefox was still open. Finally caused it to force quit and restarted my computer. Upon trying to open Firefox I started getting all the messages about having crashed, reporting it, etc. It also asked if I wanted to refresh or use in Safe Mode. I told it to refresh. It finally told me that I had no profile and would not open. I used and app cleaner and totally removed Firefox. Now I try reinstalling it, and won't even allow me to reinstall. I get to the point where I drag the Firefox logo onto the application folder. It acts like it's going to move Firefox to the applications folder but then bounces back incomplete. I see the drive on my desktop. Double click and it just reopens the window for me to drag the logo to applications. I simply cannot reinstall Firefox now.

I solved my own problem. I opened a Finder window and dragged the logo into the applications folder there, and it worked.

That was very good work. Well Done. Please flag your last post as Solved Problem so others will know.
