I cant send emails from my thunderbird account. It says Server may be incorrectly configured. Please verify your outgoing server SMTP settings are correct. I don't know how to do this. I am serviced by suddenlink and they wont help me with thunderbird. They say I need to call you. Is there a phone #, please

Sorry, but there is no phone number. Only Free software and free help from volunteers who are also Thunderbird users via this forum.

Please post the following information:

In Thunderbird

  • 'Help' > 'Troubleshooting Information'
  • click on 'Copy text to clipboard' button
  • In this forum question, right click in a 'Post a Reply' text box and select 'Paste'.
  • You can edit/remove all info on fonts and printers, but nothing else.


Please confirm you can receive and read incoming mail - in other words this is purely an outgoing issue.
