I’ve set up two email servers on Thunderbird. I’ve imported all my old Outlook emails, which uses a POP email server, to Thunderbird. When I send a new message to the ‘Outlook’ email server Thunderbird makes an audible noise but nothing appears in the Inbox. If I click on the Get Messages pull-down and select the server it then downloads the messages. Is it possible to set Thunderbird up so that it does this automatically? Also is possible to set Thunderbird up so that it downloads all messages from all servers by just clicking Get Messages?

In account settings, in the server settings area, you can select how often to check for new messages.

Many thanks for the reply but that is not the problem I have. Messages are automatically downloaded from the 'working' mail server but not the other server. The only way to download from that server is to use the Get Messages pull-down menu.
