I have just got a new laptop with Thunderbird 45.3.0 installed for Linux. While using my old laptop (also Linux), I tagged my mails under an older version of Thunderbird. Now when reading on my new laptop my old mails that were tagged, they appear as untagged. (Note that I can make new tags, so the tagging feature is available, it is juts my old tags that are not visible.)Could you give me a hint how to retrieve the old tags? Are they e.g. stored in a file I could copy from my old laptop? Thanking you in advance for a solution.

Are you using IMAP? or more importantly IMAP on the new device and POP on the old perhaps?
