Firefox crashes immediately on startup
Firefox 48 and previous versions worked great on my PC. Since installing Firefox 49, I have not been able to open Firefox at all. A Mozilla Crash Reporter window appears immediately when I try to open the browser (image attached); the browser window never opens. The same thing happens if I click the "Restart Firefox" button in the crash reporter. As a result, I am unable to open it in safe mode.
I installed Firefox 50 yesterday, and the issue persists. For both versions, I have followed the recommended steps to resolve, including uninstalling and reinstalling the browser, and removing the Firefox folder from the %APPDATA% folder.
My operating system is Windows 10 Enterprise, version 1511.
My latest crash ID is: Crash ID: bp-d06365da-3d63-4d73-9b8d-33c8a2161116
Hoping you can offer some troubleshooting tips. Thank you.

hi zzgd, unfortunately these crashes will be caused by websense security software running on your system and negatively affecting firefox. according to some reports this might be fixed with newer versions of websense, so you might want to get into contact with your it department if they could roll-out an updated version of websense. otherwise firefox esr might also be an option: Old versions of Websense cause startup crashes in Firefox
