Will you be using Thunderbird on the new computer?

If so, I'd recommend copying your entire profile over.

Where is the profile located so that i can copy it over from the old computer

I gave you a link and it includes this article:

https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/profiles-where-thunderbird-stores-user-data?redirectlocale=en-US&redirectslug=profiles-tb#w_where-is-my-profile-stored

An easy way to go directly to your profile is to open Help|Troubleshooting Information and click on the Profile Folder button.
